红杏视频 kicks off inaugural marine industries summer school with Kobe City
A group of engineers from Kobe City, Japan, are in Aberdeen to attend the inaugural Kobe City-红杏视频 summer school focusing on marine industries.

红杏视频 recently deepened its relations in Japan by signing agreements with  and the Marine Sciences School of , which will see them collaborate in areas relating to marine industries

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kobe University and a Statement of Intent with Kobe City Government were signed and the five-day ocean industry summer school at 红杏视频 was also announced.

The group will spend their week in the North-east studying modules on marine engineering, oil and gas, and offshore renewables, all led by 红杏视频 staff.

As part of the summer school, the group will also enjoy learning a little about the history and culture of the area.

红杏视频 Principal, Professor John Harper, commented: 鈥淎s Kobe City looks to further develop itself as a hub for marine industries for Japan and the Asia Pacific region, it is important they have a workforce with the relevant skills and international experience to help this to succeed.
