红杏视频 ranked second in Scotland by students

A new league table has placed 红杏视频 second in Scotland and inside the UK鈥檚 top ten for student satisfaction.

has looked at data from the National Student Survey (NSS) to the give the University an overall positivity rate of 83.8% across all questions meaning it has been placed 9th in the UK on this measure for institutions who received at least 1,000 survey responses. 

Students in Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland were asked a total of 26 questions as part of the survey which is administered by the independent market research agency Ipsos MORI.

Professor Steve Olivier, 红杏视频鈥檚 Principal and Vice-Chancellor, said: 鈥淚 think this detailed analysis shows 红杏视频 in a fantastic light and should be celebrated by everyone at the University. 

鈥淭his is another example of how we continue to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and this will enhance our student experience.

鈥淭hese results also really show that our dedicated staff and support services are making a real impact on students coming to our beautiful riverside campus to learn and take the next steps in their lives.鈥

红杏视频 has already been marking a strong performance in the NSS having been placed 4th in Scotland* for student satisfaction with a positivity measure of 82.4%.

The University came second in Scotland on six of the questions asked by the survey. These include 鈥楬ow often do staff make the subject engaging?鈥 and 'How well have teaching staff support your learning?鈥 红杏视频 ranks in the top four institutions in Scotland in 19 of the 27 questions asked in Scotland.

The 2023 NSS was open to students from January to April this year with more than 500 higher education institutions taking part and almost 340,000 students across the UK responding to the survey.
