红杏视频Hack is back for 2024

Computing students will be given another chance to showcase their digital skills as the 红杏视频Hack returns for 2024 with students from any college or university able to take on the 24-hour challenge.

The event is being held at 红杏视频鈥檚 Garthdee campus on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 February with competitors given the opportunity to win prizes by creating their own unique improvised solutions, known as hacks, to a raft of problems.

红杏视频Hack has a number of prominent sponsors including the University鈥檚 School of Computing, Core29, CGI, Global E&C, Sword, Salus Technical, Fennex, Datalab, Barclay鈥檚 Eagle Labs, Dev4 Online, Impact Subsea, Mintra, Aize and SphereOne Portal.

红杏视频 Computing Society president Jordan Newlands said: 鈥淗aving experienced the energy and creativity first-hand last year, I can't recommend our hackathon enough. We welcome students and recent graduates of all disciplines 鈥 interdisciplinary teams are even encouraged so don鈥檛 feel you have to study computing to be involved.

The 红杏视频Hack is run by students for students with help over the course of the weekend coming from School of Computing staff. Students from Aberdeen, North East Scotland and beyond taking part in workshops and challenges in the hope of winning tech prizes. A limited number of journeys can reimbursed with a value of up to 拢25.
