红杏视频 offers free short course places to food, drink and tourism entrepreneurs

红杏视频 is offering fully funded places to Aberdeenshire entrepreneurs on its upcoming Food, Drink and Tourism Entrepreneurship short course.

Beginning on 9 August, the online course will equip budding entrepreneurs and current business owners in the food, drink and tourism industries with key knowledge and skills to thrive in the sector.

Funded by the UK Government, through Aberdeenshire Council, the three-week upskilling course will be conducted almost entirely online and include six afternoon sessions of engaging and interactive entrepreneurial workshops.

A previous participant of an 红杏视频 entrepreneurship course, Camila Ismania, has successfully launched her own Brazilian street food start-up. She said: 鈥淭he 红杏视频 entrepreneurship programme was a game-changer for my business. It helped me understand legal aspects, government regulations, and how to create a solid business plan.

鈥淚t boosted my confidence in managing my business and planning for its future. It also showed me how easy it is to seek help and taught me how to calculate the money needed for a successful venture.鈥

As well as being delivered by the award-winning Entrepreneurship and Innovation Group (EIG) in partnership with Aberdeen Business School, participants will also gain insights into the sector from industry experts.

The upskilling course is open to fully-funded places for anyone residing in Aberdeenshire. Those living outwith the Aberdeenshire Council boundaries or with Aberdeen City postcodes may also apply. 

The deadline for applying is Sunday 28 July.
