Aberdeen-based digital consultancy Core29 has a history of hiring ºìÐÓÊÓƵ graduates.

The company has strong links with the University having offered students placements in the past and also sponsoring the latest edition of ºìÐÓÊÓƵHack which was held last month.

As well as this, Core29’s managing director Alan Dick is the chair of ºìÐÓÊÓƵ’s Alumni Council. The company hired two international students from the separate MSc programmes in 2022, they are Daniela Garza and Gandharv Singhal.

Daniela Garza actually completed her dissertation with data supplied by Core29 and the company knew she was someone they wanted to bring into their team.

Alan Dick is keen to build on the company’s strong links with ºìÐÓÊÓƵ and feels many graduates come to them with knowledge and skills aplenty.

He said: "Having hired two graduates from ºìÐÓÊÓƵ last year we know the knowledge and skills they bring are vital to the business.  It is a fantastic that both Daniela and Gandharv joined the company and not only does it help them with their career development but also strengthens our links with the University.

"Core29 offers ºìÐÓÊÓƵ students' placements, and this is a fantastic opportunity for students to come into our business and gain crucial experience. It is also a chance for students to showcase their skills and talent and apply some of the lessons they have learned at the University to our business. We remain very keen to build on the success we have had in the last year with students."
