English is the language of instruction at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ. We offer support with learning and testing to ensure that those applying for courses can meet the entry requirements.
If you are considering studying a postgraduate course starting in January 2025 or September 2025, then please be aware application deadlines are in place.

All applicants whose first language is not from a recognised English speaking country will be asked to provide evidence of their English language skills as part of their offer to study at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ.

It is essential that you can read and interpret academic journal articles, communicate effectively and write at a doctorate level. If English is not your first language, regardless of your nationality or country of residence you will need to demonstrate the required language skills
ºìÐÓÊÓƵ have secured discounts with selected test providers for our applicants who may be planning to take a test of English.
If a visa is required in order to study in the UK then applicants need to meet both the UKVI and Robert Gordon Universities academic English requirement.
